Overview of Ajax Load More
Ajax Load More is an open source WordPress plugin for infinite scrolling, load more buttons, and AJAX pagination. It works with posts, pages, WooCommerce products, and custom post types using a shortcode system.
How Auto Infinite Scroll differs from Ajax Load More
All plugins from Super Speedy Plugins share a SQL-first architecture and an uncompromising focus on performance — and Auto Infinite Scroll is no different. Here is what sets it apart:
Page-by-page navigation breaks browsing momentum, and losing their place after opening a product is worse. Auto Infinite Scroll appends the next archive page automatically or behind a Load More button, then restores the shopper’s saved position when they press Back.
How to choose between Ajax Load More and Auto Infinite Scroll?
The honest question to ask is: does Ajax Load More's development team regularly benchmark their plugin against stores with hundreds of thousands of products? For Auto Infinite Scroll, that answer is unambiguous — performance testing against a one-million-product store is part of every single release cycle, not an afterthought. If consistent, predictable speed matters to your business, that is a meaningful difference. A free trial is available to test it risk-free on your staging environment.
What do others say about Auto Infinite Scroll?
Best infinite scroll plugin available, with amazing support. WPintense is focused on speed, and this is the only infinite scroll plugin that we could find that has a memory option: once you've clicked a product and press previous page in the browser, it will revert you back to the location on the page where you were when you clicked the product, NOT the top of the page, like every other plugin does. This is an amazing feature! The developer has helped us with adjustments to have it fit in seamlessly with our the theme, which is just perfect. Thanks for the support & make sure you checkout the demo store the developer has where you can use the plugin and see how BLAZINGLY FAST it it.
I usually don't bother writing reviews but I see a few reviews here that are complaining about support and they are kinda old which I think shows the wrong impression of how it is. I have a completely different experience with support and I have never before had a chance to talk to a dev directly on Discord and that bugs and issues were resolved almost immediately. I'm using Breakdance builder which is fairly new so there were few fixes needed and now everything works fine. Also, all my suggestions for improvements were implemented … Support is 10/10!!
Excellent plugin.Integrates well with most themes with minor modifications. Massively speeds up the archive browsing process and removes uncached paginated pages (improving pagespeed scores).

- Fixed the second load more button being permanently on – unchecking "Enable second load more button" had no effect because an empty saved value was being forced back to "on", so shops auto-fetched large batches (10 pages by default) and effectively loaded everything. It now honours the setting.
- Fixed the load more button appearing at page 0 when the second button is disabled – it now auto-loads the configured number of pages first, then shows the button, and repeats every X pages, so visitors can stop and reach the footer.
