Super Speedy Coming Soon

Build a launch waitlist - countdown and email capture on any product

Free, for unlimited sites. A cold launch tells you nothing until stock or development time is already committed. Mark a WooCommerce product Coming Soon, collect signups in your own database, and measure demand by product before launch. WooCommerce required.

Launch to an audience, not to silence

A great product deserves a great launch, but most launches start cold. Super Speedy Coming Soon warms them up by capturing interest in the days and weeks before you go live. Flag any WooCommerce product as “coming soon” and its Add to Cart button becomes a live countdown, a short pitch and an email signup. Every visitor who would have bounced off an “out of stock” page instead joins your waitlist, so the moment you launch, you launch to people who already want it.

Launch with people already waiting

  • A warm audience on launch day. Every pre-launch visitor joins a waitlist, so when you go live you launch to people who already want it.
  • Proof of demand before you commit. The product does not even have to exist yet. Signups tell you whether an idea is worth building, designing or stocking.
  • Traffic captured instead of lost. Interest from teasers, social posts, search and word of mouth turns into a list that compounds, rather than evaporating on a dead-end page.
  • A store that keeps selling. Because it works per product, only the products you flag show the coming-soon experience. Everything else takes orders as normal.

Validate demand before you build a thing

Here is the part that changes how you work: put up a coming-soon page for an idea, a new line, a colourway or a bundle, and watch the signups roll in. Each one is a real person raising their hand. If a hundred people join the waitlist in a week, you have your answer. If nobody does, you just saved yourself the cost of building and stocking something nobody wanted. It is the cheapest market research you will ever run, and the perfect MVP test: measure interest first, commit second.

Turn product interest into a waitlist you own

Per-Product Toggle
Flag any single product as coming soon with one checkbox. The rest of your store keeps selling.
Live Countdown
A real-time countdown to your launch date builds anticipation and brings shoppers back.
Email Waitlist
Replace Add to Cart with an email signup so interested shoppers register instead of bouncing.
Shop And Category Pages
Coming-soon products show a Coming Soon button on your shop and category listings instead of Add to Cart, linking through to the product rather than the basket.
Measure Demand
Every signup is a vote. See exactly how many people want a product before you commit.
Referral Tracking
After signup, share buttons hand each subscriber their own link, and anyone who signs up through it is recorded against them.
AI Agent Control
Ask an AI assistant which products are gated and how each waitlist is doing, or change the signup-form settings, over MCP. Your API keys are never revealed to it.
Any Email Tool
Send signups to MailerLite or Super Speedy Emails, or keep them internal-only, chosen per product.

Key features

  • Spam protection built in. A honeypot and per-IP rate limiting are always on, with optional Cloudflare Turnstile for heavier protection.
  • Works with classic and block themes. It finds your theme’s Add to Cart button automatically and drops in, with no template editing.
  • Lightweight and fast. Scripts and styles load only on coming-soon pages, so the rest of your site stays quick.
  • One shopper, many waitlists. The same email address can register interest in as many different products as it likes, each waitlist counted separately.
  • CSV export from admin. A Coming Soon Signups screen shows how many people joined each product’s waitlist and exports the list, all products at once or one at a time.
  • Optional name collection. Capture each subscriber’s name alongside their email, and every signup carries its referral source so you know who brought whom.
  • Signups tied to customer accounts. When a logged-in shopper joins a waitlist, the signup is linked to their WooCommerce account as well as their email address.
  • Your list, saved first. Every signup is captured to your own site before it syncs onward, so if a provider is ever down, nothing is lost.

Own the waitlist before launch

Traditional “coming soon” plugins take your entire site offline behind a splash page, the opposite of what you want when you are trying to sell. Super Speedy Coming Soon works at the product level, so your shop never goes dark.

Per product
flag one product or fifty; everything else keeps taking orders
100%

1-click

Referrals

What's new in Super Speedy Coming Soon?

View full changelog →
1.7.6 (12th August 2026)
  • Fixed the signup form and the plugin description both claimed that sharing your referral link increases your priority in the queue. Referrals are recorded against whoever referred you, and the signups screen and CSV export show them, but nothing ranks or prioritises by them. The claim has been removed from both
  • Fixed the coming-soon signup panel vanished from the product page when Super Speedy Ajax Prices had stock refresh on. Its script preloader renders the add-to-cart area behind the scenes during the page head, and that hidden render was using up the panel's once-per-page allowance. Renders during the page head no longer count, so the panel always appears for your visitors
1.7.5 (11th August 2026)
  • Updated super-speedy-settings to the latest version
1.7.4 (6th August 2026)
  • Updated the shared Super Speedy settings module: the Super Speedy wordmark on the settings header is now a crisp high-resolution image with a dark-text variant
1.7.3 (3rd August 2026)
  • Updated the shared Super Speedy settings module: AI agents can check your licence and install other Super Speedy plugins over MCP, now also exposed on AI Engine's MCP endpoint when AI Engine is active
  • New Check frequency setting – cap licence, update and changelog checks to once a day or once a week, and see when the licence was last checked
  • Licence and changelog checks fail fast when superspeedyplugins.com cannot be reached, instead of hanging the settings page
  • The newest installed copy of the shared Super Speedy settings code now runs site-wide, whichever plugin loads first – previously the alphabetically-first plugin's often-older copy won
  • AI agents can read and change the signup-form settings over MCP (API keys never echoed back) and list the coming-soon products with their waitlist counts – also exposed on AI Engine's MCP endpoint
Can I use it before the product even exists?
Yes, that is one of the best ways to use it. Create the product, mark it coming soon and leave Add to Cart off. It becomes a pure interest-gathering page, and the signups tell you whether it is worth building.
Does it require WooCommerce?
Yes. It marks individual WooCommerce products as coming soon. It is not a whole-site maintenance-mode plugin.
Do I need a MailerLite account?
No. Every signup is stored on your own site and can be exported as CSV, so you can run entirely on your own internal list. MailerLite or Super Speedy Emails is optional, added only if you want signups synced to it automatically.
Can the same person join more than one waitlist?
Yes. Waitlists are tracked per product, so one email address can register interest in as many different products as it likes and each one is counted separately.
Will it work with my theme?
Yes. It supports classic and block themes and places the coming-soon experience where WooCommerce normally renders the purchase controls.
What do coming-soon products look like on my shop page?
Their tile shows a Coming Soon button in place of Add to Cart, and it links through to the product page rather than the basket. A coming-soon product has no price yet, so the button explains why instead of inviting a purchase that cannot complete.
Does it slow my site down?
No. The plugin’s CSS and JavaScript load only on product pages that are actually marked coming soon.
Is the signup form protected from spam?
Yes. A honeypot and per-IP rate limiting are always on, with optional Cloudflare Turnstile for heavier protection. Turnstile is free from Cloudflare and takes effect once you paste in the two keys.
Can I manage it with an AI assistant?
Yes. The plugin publishes an MCP surface, so an AI agent can list every coming-soon product with its waitlist count and read or change the signup-form settings. API keys are never handed to the agent, only whether one is set. It needs WordPress 6.9 or newer, and also works through AI Engine’s MCP endpoint.
Does it automatically email everybody when the product launches?
No. It collects the waitlist locally and can sync signups to Super Speedy Emails or MailerLite, but changing the product from Coming Soon to purchasable does not send a campaign by itself. Send the launch announcement from your chosen email tool, or export the local list as CSV.
Does the product become purchasable when the countdown reaches zero?
No. The expired countdown hides, but the product remains marked Coming Soon until you untick the setting and configure it for sale. This prevents an unfinished or unstocked product becoming purchasable automatically.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Super Speedy Coming Soon is free, for unlimited sites, with lifetime updates. You still get a licence so the plugin can check for and install its own updates from your dashboard, exactly like the paid Super Speedy plugins.
