Dev Hub

Build with AI and keep every update. Ask for what you need, build your own changes with AI using our hooks and guides, and share what you make. Start by giving your AI the guide we wrote for it.

What can we build today?

Read https://staging.superspeedyplugins.com/start-with-ai/ and help me develop with Super Speedy plugins.

Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or any AI assistant that can read web pages.

Ask: tell us what you need

Request a feature or report a bug on our public issue tracker. Approved requests are built into the plugins and released in a normal update, so there is nothing for you to maintain.

Raise an issue
Describe what you want, or ask your AI to write it up, on the issue tracker.
It gets reviewed
Each request is reviewed. Not every one is approved.
It is built into the plugin
Approved requests become part of the plugin itself, not a separate add-on.
You get it in an update
It arrives in a normal plugin update, and we maintain it from then on.
The tracker is public

Anyone can read it, so never paste site addresses, logins, licence keys or customer data into an issue.

Build: make it yours, keep every update

Change how any plugin behaves without touching our code. Your AI builds your change as a separate add-on using our hooks and filters, so every update and security fix still reaches you.

Give your AI the guide
start.md is written for AI assistants: what each plugin does, how to set it up, and how to customise a plugin without losing updates.
Control the plugins over MCP
Connect your site with Super Speedy MCP and your AI inspects and configures the plugins through defined tools. Sensitive changes can require your confirmation.
Or script it with WP-CLI
With SSH access, each step is a WP-CLI command you can run again, such as the Imports CLI. Setting up a store with an AI assistant compares the routes.
Test every update on staging first
Have your AI apply each plugin update to a staging copy of your site, check your add-on still works there, then update the live site.
Build an add-on
Your code lives in its own plugin and survives our updates. Start with the add-on guide and a worked example.
Hook in at the right point
Each plugin’s developer guides list its actions and filters, so your AI changes behaviour where the plugin expects it. The references are listed below.
See what AI can build
The demo store, with about 100,000 products, was built by Claude Code using these plugins, and the example import data is public on GitHub.

Share: send it back

Built a fix or an add-on that other people could use? Post it on the issue tracker with a link to your code, or show it in the Discord. If it suits everyone, it can be built into the plugin and released in a normal update.

Add-on gallery

Add-ons we have built on top of our own plugins. For now the gallery holds our own.

An add-on for Super Speedy AJAX Prices. Shows each visitor prices in their own currency, with rounding rules, and stays correct on a fully page-cached store.
An add-on for Scalability Pro or Super Speedy Filters. Keeps category, tag, brand and author archives fast as the catalogue grows, using one pre-flattened index.
Term Descriptions (coming soon)
An add-on for Super Speedy Imports. Finds duplicated and boilerplate category and tag descriptions, so you can rewrite them in a spreadsheet and import them back. Its build is written up as a case study.

Bring the plugins you love

Keep using any WordPress or WooCommerce plugin you already have a licence for. Our plugins work alongside the plugins already on your site.

Add the compatibility
Where two plugins need to work together, your AI can add the compatibility as an add-on of its own.
Or ask for it built in
If other people would use it too, request the compatibility on the issue tracker.
Keep it safe
Read how we handle security, and keep your own code in its own add-on so an update only ever replaces our files.
