Country Based Prices 1.9.0

  • New wp ssapcbp backfill records what each line on your past orders was worth in your own currency, so credit and upgrade features work on orders placed before you installed this. Run it with --dry-run first.
  • It separates the lines it can value exactly from the ones it can only estimate, and writes estimates only if you ask for them with --derive-approximate.
Country Based Prices 1.9.0 in its changelog

Country Based Prices 1.8.0

  • Five ways to exclude products from conversion: how you fulfil them (not downloadable, not virtual), product type, category, tag or tax class. Pick whichever matches how your shop is already organised.
  • Each option shows how many of your products it would catch, so you can see what a rule does before you save it.
Country Based Prices 1.8.0 in its changelog

Country Based Prices 1.7.0

  • New pick product categories or tax classes that always keep your own prices. Consultancy and installation work is the usual case – the price is your time, and converting it only creates a foreign payment to reconcile.
  • Fixed orders you create by hand in the admin were being priced in the customer's currency rather than yours. They now always use your own prices.
Country Based Prices 1.7.0 in its changelog

Country Based Prices 1.6.0

  • New choose which payment methods take the visitor's currency. Bank transfer, cheque and cash on delivery start set to your own currency, because that money lands in whatever accounts you actually hold.
  • New if a price ever cannot be worked out, you are emailed straight away and it is logged. The customer is shown full price and asked to get in touch, so nothing is given away.
  • Added guides getting started, what changes for existing customers, and a developer guide for integrating other pricing plugins.
Country Based Prices 1.6.0 in its changelog

Country Based Prices 1.5.0

  • Every order line now records what it was worth in your own currency at the moment of sale. Your customer still paid, and is still shown, the amount in their currency – this is a separate figure your other plugins can do sums with safely.
  • Plugins that credit a customer for a past purchase can now ask us what a line was worth, and get a clear "cannot tell" rather than a plausible wrong number. That is the difference between charging full price and giving a product away.
Country Based Prices 1.5.0 in its changelog

Country Based Prices 1.4.0

  • New a panel showing every other plugin on your site that changes prices, which ones run before we convert, and which ones might be working from amounts already recorded in your currency. A diagnostic, not a fix – but it tells you where to look.
  • New plugins that set prices from figures already in your currency (upgrade credit, store credit, deposits) can now register themselves and get their own checkbox here, in their own words.
  • New an integration API so other plugins can do price arithmetic without mixing two currencies in one sum.
Country Based Prices 1.4.0 in its changelog

Country Based Prices 1.3.1

  • Fixed in "show local prices, charge in yours" mode, the block cart and block checkout now show the price you were quoted next to what is actually being charged. Previously that line only appeared on the classic cart and checkout.
  • Fixed a zone that keeps your prices at the same number but changes the currency – GBP at par with EUR, for example – was being treated as though it did nothing, so visitors in that zone saw your own currency instead of theirs.
Country Based Prices 1.3.1 in its changelog

Super Speedy Imports 2.81.0

  • The CSV is now opened by the load-csv stage rather than at the start of every run, groundwork for add-ons and templates that generate their own import file
  • A run that does not need the CSV, such as --delete-all, no longer stops with "CSV file not found"
  • Worker segment row numbers and ID ranges are integers rather than floats
  • Save Import now sits next to Preview & Run at the top of the Config tab instead of at the foot of the form
  • The Config tab's run panel stays pinned to the top while you scroll, so Save Import and Preview & Run are always reachable
Super Speedy Imports 2.81.0 in its changelog

Country Based Prices 1.3.0

  • Licensing and updates: this add-on is a separate product with its own licence key, and now checks for its own updates.
  • The add-on can be switched off from the Add-ons panel in Super Speedy AJAX Prices without uninstalling it. Your zones are kept.
  • New option to delete this add-on's settings, zones and per-product prices when it is deleted. Off by default. Order records are always kept – they are accounting history, not settings.
  • Requires Super Speedy AJAX Prices 1.9.3.
Country Based Prices 1.3.0 in its changelog

Country Based Prices 1.2.0

  • Verified end to end against a real page cache: one cached page, visitors from three countries, each seeing their own currency, including adding to the cart and the header cart total.
  • The Price Based on Country import is now marked Beta and switched off by default. It reads that plugin's internal cache, which is often out of date on a shop that has been repriced, so it is now something you turn on deliberately rather than a button sitting there inviting a click.
Country Based Prices 1.2.0 in its changelog

Country Based Prices 1.1.1

  • Fixed the Price Based on Country import could pick up a stale cached price from a variable product and pin the whole product to it. It now only imports prices that are genuinely set per product, and tells you what it skipped and why.
Country Based Prices 1.1.1 in its changelog

Country Based Prices 1.1.0

  • Added a one-click import from WooCommerce Price Based on Country. It shows you what it would do first, and never changes anything belonging to that plugin, so you can go back.
  • "Show local prices, charge in yours" now says so at the checkout as well as on the product page, showing the exact figure you were quoted next to what will actually be charged.
  • Added a warning when none of your payment gateways accept a zone's currency, and customers in that situation are now shown your own prices so they can still check out.
Country Based Prices 1.1.0 in its changelog

Super Speedy Ajax Prices 1.9.3

  • New Ajax cart display. Your cart count and total are taken out of the cached page and filled in for each visitor.
  • New an Add-ons panel, so an installed add-on can be switched off without uninstalling it. Its settings are kept.
  • New an option to delete this plugin's settings when you delete the plugin. Off by default, with a matching option for each add-on you have installed.
Super Speedy Ajax Prices 1.9.3 in its changelog

Super Speedy Ajax Prices 1.9.2

  • Add-ons can now add their own tab to the settings screen, saved by the same Save button as everything else. An add-on keeps its settings separate from the plugin's own, so deactivating an add-on never loses them.
  • The See what each customer sees comparison now accepts a shop URL, so you can preview any category, search or filtered page instead of only picking products by hand.
Super Speedy Ajax Prices 1.9.2 in its changelog

Super Speedy Filters 6.43

  • Security release. Updating is recommended for every store.
  • Filter, narrow_ and meta_ URL parameters are now checked against your registered taxonomies and meta keys, and term IDs must be numeric, so an unrecognised parameter is dropped rather than carried into the filter links on the page
  • Filter links, canonical tags, swatch titles, term names and widget CSS classes are now escaped at every output point
  • Removed an unused AJAX endpoint, fww_searchattributes, which accepted a serialized PHP object in a URL parameter
  • Settings export and import now require an administrator and a valid nonce, and exports are written as JSON instead of serialized PHP. Existing exports still import
  • A filter set to Admins only is no longer returned to other visitors by the lazy-load endpoint
  • The clear-transients, colour-keys, archive-count and SEO override AJAX handlers now require an administrator
  • The lazy-load widget endpoint renders only Super Speedy Filters' own widgets, and validates its paging parameters
  • Page Ajax mode now only trims the plugin list on a front-end archive request, never on wp-login.php, wp-admin, the REST API or xmlrpc.php, and leaves the list untouched if Super Speedy Filters would not survive the trim
  • Removed debug.php and test-class-alias.php from the plugin
Super Speedy Filters 6.43 in its changelog

Super Speedy Performance Analysis 0.9.2

  • NEW MySQL query fingerprints. Where your database lets us read its performance_schema statistics, the analysis now reports how many rows MySQL ACTUALLY read to answer each query, rather than how many it returned or what the optimiser guessed. New finding for queries that read far more than they return – a query reading 400,000 rows to hand back 12 is doing a hidden full scan, and it is invisible to every other measurement. Needs one read-only GRANT, which the Tools tab writes out for you; without it, everything else still works.
  • The N+1 finding now says where those queries actually ran, so "this plugin ran 70 queries" becomes "70 of them inside WooCommerce" – which is the difference between a plugin being busy and a plugin looping over someone else's API.
  • Query call stacks are captured deeper (32 frames, was 14), and the Tools tab reports how often a stack was still cut short, so you can tell whether attribution is seeing everything it needs to.
  • NEW Tools tab reports what your server can do for deeper analysis, and for anything missing generates the exact commands for YOUR operating system, PHP version and init system – not generic documentation you have to translate. Every command has a copy button, and there is a ready-written message you can paste into a support ticket, because most sites cannot install a PHP extension themselves.
  • The plugin never installs anything itself: it does not edit php.ini, run pecl, or restart anything. It shows you what to run, with the reason for each step.
  • The Tools tab also generates the exact read-only GRANT statement your database user needs, with your real username filled in, and tells you plainly when something is detected but not yet used by the plugin.
  • NEW query plan analysis. Every distinct query whose full SQL was captured is now run through MySQL's EXPLAIN, so a slow query is reported with the REASON it is slow – no usable index, a temporary table, a filesort – instead of just the fact that it was slow. Needs nothing installed, no extra database permission, and works on any host.
  • NEW finding "query with no usable index". These are the queries that are fast today because your tables are small and get linearly slower as you grow – the single most common cause of a site that was fine last year. EXPLAIN is the only way to see them before they hurt.
  • EXPLAIN never executes your queries (that would be EXPLAIN ANALYZE, which is deliberately not used), only ever runs on SELECTs, and runs after profiling rather than during it, so it cannot affect any measurement.
  • FIXED shared library misattribution. When two plugins bundle the same library (Freemius, Action Scheduler, Guzzle and anything else under a vendor directory), PHP loads only one copy, and whichever plugin happened to own that copy on disk was charged for every other plugin's use of it. Attribution now walks past the shared library to the plugin that actually called in, and reports the library separately: "WP All Import, work done in action-scheduler (in woocommerce)". A plugin using its OWN bundled library is still charged for it, and ordinary cross-plugin API calls (a plugin calling wc_get_product()) still resolve to the API's owner, not the caller.
  • Attribution now records the full component chain for every query and HTTP call, so the same capture answers two different questions: which component's code RAN (the default), and which component ASKED for the work. The second is the honest answer when a plugin calls a WooCommerce function seventy times in a loop instead of once – that is the plugin's fault, not WooCommerce's.
  • The "plugin ran N queries" finding (the N+1 detector) now always names the plugin that made the calls, even when the queries themselves ran inside WooCommerce or another plugin's code. Previously a plugin looping over another plugin's API was invisible: the cost was filed under the API's owner.
  • NEW on the Plugins tab: a Code owner / Caller attribution switch, for exploring the same run both ways. It only changes how the run is presented – nothing is re-profiled and no stored number changes. Measured impact is unaffected either way, because it comes from disabling the plugin and re-measuring rather than from attribution.
  • Attribution has always been a hypothesis and measured impact the experiment – Deep Analysis was never affected by this, because virtually disabling a plugin removes its calls into a shared library no matter whose folder that library sits in.
  • Updates now come from superspeedyplugins.com instead of GitHub, so the Plugins screen offers new versions again while the source repo is still private. No licence key needed – the plugin stays free and the download is ungated.

External Images 3.42

  • Fixed the zoom and lightbox button disappearing after selecting a variation on a variable product.
  • Fixed the lightbox opening a variation image at the wrong size after switching variation.
  • The hover magnifier now activates based on each image's real width, measured once the image loads.
  • The placeholder used when an image URL carries no dimensions now matches your store's configured single-product image width.
External Images 3.42 in its changelog

Super Speedy Ajax Prices 1.9.1

  • Removed the hidden Fix prices for VAT-exempt locations option. If prices look wrong for a country with no VAT, add a wildcard 0.0000 row to WooCommerce > Settings > Tax > Standard rates, and check the product's Tax class is Standard rather than Zero rate.
Super Speedy Ajax Prices 1.9.1 in its changelog

Super Speedy Filters 6.42.1

  • Improved the Rebuild ancestors table button on the Performance tab: a live progress bar showing the current step, immediate feedback when you click instead of an alert, and a guard so a double click cannot restart a running build
Super Speedy Filters 6.42.1 in its changelog

Super Speedy Filters 6.42

  • Filters can now be shown only for specific categories, not just "when any category is selected". Previously the "hide until other filters selected" option could only ask whether a taxonomy was being filtered at all, so on a store with different attributes per category, picking any category showed every filter. You can now write conditions like product_cat=televisions, or product_cat=televisions|audio for several. Slugs, names and term IDs all work
  • Category conditions understand your category tree. A filter set to show for Televisions also shows in its subcategories, so you never have to list every child category. The reverse deliberately does not apply – a filter scoped to a subcategory stays out of the parent
  • Added a Match setting beside the condition list, so several conditions can require all of them or any one of them. All existing filters keep their current behaviour, which requires all of them
  • Auto Configure now sets those conditions for you: each filter is restricted to the categories where it actually has results, so a screen-size filter on a store that only sells televisions and audio is created with the condition product_cat=televisions|audio, and clothing pages stop paying for a filter that could only ever render as nothing. Filters with results across most of the store stay store-wide, colour, size and brand are never restricted because shoppers expect them everywhere, and every decision is shown with its evidence so you can override it
  • If the lookup tables have not been built yet, Auto Configure leaves every filter store-wide and says so, rather than guessing from missing data
  • Swatch colours now live on the term itself, not only inside each filter widget. Previously a colour was stored per-widget against the term's NAME, so renaming a term made its swatch go blank, two filters showing the same attribute each needed the whole palette entered separately, and nothing could set a colour programmatically. There is now a Swatch colour field on the Add/Edit Term screen, beside the existing Thumbnail field, and a colour set there is shared by every filter showing that taxonomy
  • Your existing widget colours are copied onto the terms automatically after updating, but only where every filter agrees on the colour, so nothing you can see changes. Colours that differ between filters, or whose term has since been renamed, are left exactly as they are and listed in a one-time notice for you to set on the term screen. The migration never overwrites a colour already on a term and never removes the old widget values, and wp ssf migrate-colours re-runs it (with –dry-run) whenever you want
  • Filter colours can still be set on the widget as before, and the two coexist: the term's colour wins, the widget's palette fills in for terms without one, and the ssf_change_color_hex filter still overrides both
  • Because the colour is now resolved on the server, colour swatches no longer need their palette sent to the browser as JavaScript. That is what makes colour filters work properly as Gutenberg blocks, where the old JavaScript round trip caused problems
  • Added AI agent control. Super Speedy Filters now exposes eleven abilities through the WordPress Abilities API, so an assistant like Claude can inspect and configure your filters for you: describe what the plugin can do, list your filters and taxonomies, plan a filter set, run Auto Configure, undo it, set swatch colours and filter icons, move colours onto terms, and rebuild the lookup tables after an import
  • The agent never invents your filter configuration. Every decision about which filters to create and how each should look stays in the plugin, and the abilities simply trigger it and report back, so you get the same result whether you press the button or ask an assistant
  • Added two capabilities, Manage filters and Apply filters, plus a Filter Manager role, so an assistant can be given its own account with only those rights instead of a full administrator login. Existing administrators get both automatically
  • Auto Configure over MCP refuses to create more than 40 filters at once unless you explicitly allow it, and undoing a run needs confirmation, so an assistant cannot rewrite a large store's filters by accident
  • Filters on pages your own SEO rules mark as not-for-indexing now wait for a real visitor before doing any work. Bots endlessly replaying deep filter URLs they harvested get the page shell at a fraction of the cost, because the filter panels only load on the first mouse movement, scroll, tap or key press – and every visitor, human or bot, receives identical HTML, so there is nothing for search engines to object to. Uses your existing SEO and Indexing settings; nothing new to configure
  • Removed the old user-agent bot detection. It could only recognise honest bots – and then showed them different filters than real users saw, which is exactly what search engines penalise – while disguised scrapers sailed past it. The new behaviour above treats every user agent identically
  • Filter URLs pointing at terms that no longer exist now answer 410 Gone instead of 404, which tells crawlers to drop the URL for good instead of retrying it forever
  • Added X-SSF-Robots and X-SSF-Filter-Depth response headers – the page's index/follow verdict plus how many filter terms the request has selected – so your CDN or firewall can rate-limit or challenge traffic hammering deep filter combinations with one simple rule at the edge, instead of bot-detection in PHP
  • Added an Archive Performance report to the Performance tab showing who your archive pages are being served to – search engines, AI crawlers, SEO tools, other bots, browsers – with request counts and time spent, split by indexable versus noindex pages, so you can see at a glance when bots are hammering filter combinations. Bounded, sampled collection that cannot itself become a performance problem
  • Fixed PHP warnings flooding the error log on shops whose archives are filtered by a hierarchical taxonomy other than the product category, for example a hierarchical brand. The SEO title code asked for that term inside the product category taxonomy, found nothing, and warned on every single page request. Reported by a customer whose log was filling at around six lines a second
  • Fixed colour swatches not picking up colours imported by Super Speedy Imports. SSI writes a colour to the term as ssf_color_hex, but Auto Configure was not looking at that key, so an imported catalogue produced correct colours on every term and swatches that ignored them
  • Auto Configure now includes global product attributes that do not have "Enable archives" ticked, which is the WooCommerce default, so a freshly imported catalogue gets its colour, size and material filters along with everything else
  • Any filter with more than 25 terms now gets a search box and starts collapsed, and more than 100 also sits behind a button and loads on demand, whichever display type it uses. A 175-brand filter shown as image tiles is now compact instead of filling the sidebar
  • Auto Configure now places the filters in your theme's shop sidebar when you do not choose a target yourself
  • Added wp ssf autoconfig to run Auto Configure from the command line, with --dry-run to print the plan and the reason for each decision without writing anything
Super Speedy Filters 6.42 in its changelog

Super Speedy Imports 2.80.0

  • Every function, class, hook, option and AJAX action now uses the superspeedyimports_ prefix instead of ssi_, required by the WordPress.org plugin review
  • Your existing imports, settings and licence data migrate automatically the first time you open the admin or run an import, so no action is needed
  • Custom code hooking the old ssi_* filters and actions must be updated to superspeedyimports_*, for example ssi_filter_updates is now superspeedyimports_filter_updates
  • The Houzez add-on needs its matching update, or it will fail to activate
  • Database table names and the wp ssi command are unchanged
  • Replaced the bundled select2 library with a built-in dropdown, so the plugin no longer ships any third-party JavaScript
  • Table and column names in the fix-attributes stage and the bulk insert are now bound through wpdb::prepare() placeholders
  • Fixed the config import endpoint storing a configuration without sanitising it or applying the Lite edition restrictions
  • Attribute order on imported products now follows the order the taxonomies appear in your import config, with terms inside one attribute ordered by name
  • The demo data browser that downloads samples from GitHub, and lifting the PHP execution time limit, are now paid-edition only
Super Speedy Imports 2.80.0 in its changelog

Super Speedy Ajax Prices 1.9.0

  • Fixed WordPress notices from your other plugins now appear above the Super Speedy AJAX Prices header rather than between the tabs and the settings.
  • Fixed an archive now makes one batched prices request however many times your theme or a lazy-loader re-triggers it, where a slow server could previously produce one request per product.
  • Fixed products Available on backorder refresh correctly, including when a product moves between in stock and on backorder.
  • Fixed an Add to Cart area rendered by another plugin, such as a downloads, quote-request or subscription plugin, now survives a stock refresh.
  • Changed product pages render both stock states up front and the browser switches between them, so a stock change needs no markup from the server.
  • Fixed theme quantity buttons such as Enfold's - and + are reapplied after a stock change; add your own theme's event to the list with the ssap_reinit_events filter.
  • New While stock loads dims, spins or shows loading text over the stock and Add to Cart area, which stays unclickable until the live state arrives, and defaults to the same style as prices.
  • New Do not wait above N in stock (default 10) shows the Add to Cart button immediately for anything stocked above that figure.
  • New Out of stock for longer than N days (default 0, meaning always check) shows a long-dead product as sold out immediately.
  • New Refresh stock for picks which product types get their stock and buttons refreshed, with virtual and downloadable products off by default.
  • New two-state Add to Cart buttons on shop and category pages, marked BETA and off by default.
  • Improved the prices response carries no Add to Cart markup when a product's stock state has not changed, which is most page loads.
  • New, for developers the ssap_skip_stock_refresh, ssap_stock_pending_policy and ssap_reinit_events filters, a data-ssap-stock attribute recording the state each element was rendered in, and a page_states parameter on all three transports.
Super Speedy Ajax Prices 1.9.0 in its changelog

Super Speedy Coming Soon 1.7.2

  • HOTFIX: signup forms on products configured under 1.5 were dead. 1.6 reworked the SSE integration from picking a form (_sscs_sse_form_id) to picking a list (_sscs_sse_list_id) with no migration, so those products kept provider sse with an empty list id and every signup attempt returned "Signups are not configured for this product" – before the local capture, so nothing was recorded either. A one-time migration now resolves each legacy form to the first list it subscribes to, via Super Speedy Emails' own data. It retries until SSE is active rather than marking itself done while it cannot resolve.
